Owner Liz Day grew up around dogs her whole life. To say canines have been "family" is an understatement. The first dog she trained was when she was 10 years old. At age 14 she wrote an essay and gave a class speech detailing how she wanted as a career to be a dog trainer. Thus began the journey.
Liz started her pet career in 2005 when she finished a professional accredited pet training program with the Animal Behavior College in Seattle, WA. Part of this experience included volunteering with the 11th Hour Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Issaquah. She also trained at a Doggie Daycare in Federal Way. Shortly thereafter completing this program, Liz was hired by the largest pet services company in the world, PetSmart. At the Issaquah location Liz was named a Senior Pet Hotel Manager and was involved with monitoring and caring for over 200 doggie guests daily. Transferring to Missoula, Montana in 2007, Liz was a Manager and Head Dog Trainer in the PetSmart store there. It was while in Missoula Liz learned to also groom dogs. Liz is a strong believer in making both grooming and training a positive experience for the pets with which she works. In her spare time she is busy with her Border Collies, "Buddy" and "Spicy", and is a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and aids in making dogs AKC CGC Certified. Liz also enjoys spending time with her family, her husband Eon and children Taylin and Makenna.
