Proof of up-to-date Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper & Parvo vaccines are required for all services. Keep in mind that some vaccines can take up to two weeks to be affective in protecting your pet.
-
We understand that there are varying opinions about vaccinations. However, our primary concern is the health and safety of your beloved pet and the pets in our care. Vaccinations are a crucial part of preventive healthcare for pets. They protect against highly contagious and potentially deadly diseases that unfortunately are much more common in boarding facilities.
-
While we do not require them to be spayed or neutered, Males will not be allowed in common areas with other dogs, as dominance and/or aggression may be more common. Females cannot be actively in-heat, pregnant or nursing. Extra fees may apply in situations where any damages or extra care is needed due to being intact
-
Unfortunately, due to the size of our business we cannot offer tours without disrupting our guests as well as potential safety concerns.
-
There is a cancellation fee for no-shows and a $20 fee for boarding cancellations within 3 days of their drop-off date. This is due to the nature of any service based business. We staff accordingly so if you no-show it will cost the business to have a vacancy.
-
For the safety of our staff and other pet guests we do not accept aggressive or uncontrollable dogs that suffer from severe separation anxiety.
-
Sick dogs are not allowed. If signs of sickness are noticed during their stay, the dog will be separated immediately, and the owner or emergency contact may be called to pick up the dog.
-
Every attempt will be made to contact the owner and/or their emergency contact immediately while staff care for your dog. Several staff members are certified in pet first aid, so your dog will be in good hands until you’re able to pick them up. If immediate medical attention is needed, staff may transfer care to a veterinarian.
GROOMING

-
Initial evaluations and boarding require reservations. Daycare reservations are highly encouraged, but we are usually able to accept walk-in daycare clients. However, you may want to call ahead to confirm that we have space that day.
-
We require proof of up-to-date rabies, bordetella, and distemper vaccines. You can upload documents from your vet through your account or bring them to your 2-hour evaluation.
-
Grooming appointments typically take 2-4 hours, depending on the dog's coat length and condition. Large or heavy multi coated dogs may take longer and have addition fees applied.
-
While we work tirelessly to make sure we groom every dog we can. We are the only grooming service in our county, as well as being one of only a couple grooming services in a 90 mile radius.
We have a waiting list that we constantly keep updated so if there is a cancellation we may get to your pet sooner. Please be nice 😊
-
No appointment is required for nail trimming, but calling ahead is helpful. During busy hours or seasons we may not be available for walk-ins.
-
There are a few steps that you can take to begin acclimating your puppy before their first grooming experience. This includes:
Regular brushing
Handle their face, ears, mouth, feet & toes
Regular baths
Expose them to the sound and feel of trimmers or grinders by using a cheap vibrating toothbrush around sensitive areas (listed above) and a hair dryer
Taking these extra steps can help to prepare your puppy and establish a trusting experience with their groomer at DOGeDAY.
DAYCARE & BOARDING
-
A two week minimum notice is best so that we can make sure we have the staff scheduled, but we understand things can come up at the last minute. Give us a call if it’s late notice and we’ll do our best to make it work.

Facility-provided food is $4 per day. You are encouraged to bring your dog’s food from home to prevent any stomach issues. Please have it in a labeled container with enough portions for their stay. We have a fridge to store wet or frozen food as well.
-
We provide the cots, blankets, toys and bowls; you just need to provide the dog! Please do not bring any bedding, toys or bowls as they may get mixed up with ours and not make it home with you. You may bring a small shirt or blanket (with your scent) for comfort, but only if it is small enough to be cleaned or chewed. If you are bringing your dog’s food from home, please have it in a labeled container with enough portions for their stay only as we do not have the space to store any large volumes of food.
Any medications we need to administer should be brought in their original containers or packaging; do not mix them into your pet’s food. If you and your dog are new to DOGeDAY, we recommend a few days of daycare in advance of a boarding stay. This gives your dog a chance to become comfortable and familiar with the environment at DOGeDAY and lets us get to know your pup.

Yes, we have staff here to account for evening feeding times, as well as a late potty break in between 8:30 – 10pm. We take care of your pets every day for breakfast, dinner, potty breaks, and play time. Our lobby hours do not reflect the hours that we have staff on site taking care of your pets. Overnight periods are observed via a 24/7 Camera and Security System to ensure their safety.
-
Access to fresh water is provided at all times, and we ensure dogs get regular cooldowns and rest periods. However, most dogs play more in a few hours at daycare than they may during an entire day at home. Encourage them to drink small amounts of water at a time to prevent vomiting.
-
We don't take the pups out for strolls since they have our play yards to romp around all day long. They'll get plenty of wiggles and wag time hanging out with their furry pals! For safety's sake, and to keep you worry-free, our guests stay on-site while they're with us.
-
This is an environment that has dogs of different sizes. For the safety of our guests, we separate dogs into play areas based on their size, temperament, and activity level.
-
While rare, scratches and light marks from playing can happen. Staff are trained to judge when to break up play before it becomes too rough. An on-site Dog First Aid kit is used to address any wounds, and all scratches are reported to the owner before the dog goes home.
